pQuest 0.2

I program and run some of the online questionaires and surveys at the Institute of Psychology in Basel and have been trying to make some kind of template system or framework that lets students do this with only minimal help from me and, of course, lets me reuse my code myself. So if for whatever reason students don’t want to use Peter Schmutz‘s eRes, which is more for experimental settings and less customizable, they can use pQuest. And now you can, too.

pQuest needs a php/mysql setup like LAMP, MAMP or others to run. You need to place a bunch of files on a http server, setup a database and insert the items for your questionaire in the database. There is a README in the zip archive that gets you started, although it’s only in german at the moment.

It’s still far from complete, but for me and some other people it saves a lot of work. All the files are released under the GPL.

If you find any bugs, fix them or not, but let me know about them in any case.

Download pQuest 0.2 here.
